Basic Typography Design

Typography is a dicipline specialized in graphic design learn about the ins and out the letter (Font) . Letter can create certain impressions in accordance with themes of publication. Sometimes typography becomes a office logo like microsoft, google, ask and many more. Typography cosists of several types by function divided into two,

 first "Text Type" text type usually used for body text or copy, and the second is "Display Type" used for article heading causes display type has a larger more than text type.

Serif letter

Serif is groups of font that have a stalk, these fonts have small lines call counterstroke at the ends of the letter body. The line of  those letter stand horizontal to the body, and impression of this letter is a elegant, graceful and feminine. Example : Times New Roman, Garamond, Book Antiqua, Bitstream Vera Serif, Palatino Linotype, Bookman Old Style, Calisto MT, Dutch, Euro Roman, Georgia, Pan Roman, Romantic, Souevenir, Super French, etc.

Sans Serif letter

This letter have not small lines called counterstroke, These character of fonts like streemline, functional, and contemporary. Example : Arial, Futura, Avant Garde, Bitstream Vera Sans, Century Gothic and etc.
